Edinburgh Food Project are inviting you to take on the Seven Hills Challenge on Sunday 11 October. This new event will be an unforgettable journey across Edinburgh’s iconic skyline in support of the charity.
Edinburgh Food Project runs food banks across the city and a money advice service. This challenge will see participants climb Edinburgh’s famous seven hills raising funds to help people facing hardship.
The challenge is one circular route and will be a guided walk, starting and finishing at Calton Hill. The hills along the route are Arthur’s Seat, Blackford Hill, Craiglockhart Hill, Corstorphine Hill, Braid Hill and Castle Rock. You can choose to do it your way, walk with the team or take on the challenge with friends and family.
The charity is asking each participant to raise a minimum of £70 to support their work. The fundraising team will be with you every step of the way with ideas, resources and encouragement to help you reach your target. Enjoy a fantastic day with friends, family or colleagues and help build a city where everyone has what they need to thrive.
This event offers something for everyone. Whether you’re an experienced walker, want to give back to your community or are just looking for your next challenge.
